Education isn't just about academic performance; it's also very much about life skills. Our children today need to acquire 21st century skills to ensure their future success. They need to be creative, to think critically, to communicate well and to collaborate with others.
Sasbadi firmly believes one thing that is pivotal to the development of these crucial skills is experiential learning.
As such, we set up a division as early as 2005 to focus on developing educational tools and learning platforms that would promote hands-on learning. The educational tools we carry, like those of LEGO Education, and the platforms we have established together with the Government, like the National Robotics Competition ("NRC") and FIRST LEGO League ("FLL") Malaysia, are part of our mission to facilitate 21st century skills-learning for students.
In 2016, we expanded into providing education services through Little Botz, our learning centre where children can take practical lessons in science, technology, engineering and mathematics ("STEM") in an experiential classroom.
We are determined to become the leading provider of learning solutions that nurture 21st century and STEM skills for all Malaysian students so that they will be equipped to be globally competitive.
To ensure we provide educational tools of the highest quality, we have chosen to work with globally recognised brands that are dynamic, durable and user-friendly. In 2005 we were appointed as the exclusive partner of LEGO Education for the territories of Malaysia and Brunei, and in the following years we also became the distributors of National Instruments amongst other brands.
We have hands-on learning products that are suitable for:
Since 2005, Sasbadi has been co-organising the largest robotics competition in Malaysia together with the Ministry of Education (MoE). Every year, about 10,000 students from all over the nation come together at the National Robotics Competition (NRC) to compete for the championship and the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the prestigious World Robot Olympiad (WRO). Besides the NRC, Sasbadi also organises the National Robotics Open Competition (NROC) with the MoE, a robotics competition for international school students.
Sasbadi is also the organiser for FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Malaysia, FIRST LEGO League Jr. (FLL Jr.) Malaysia, and the National Advanced Robotics Competition (NARC).
Little Botz Academy our first education centre which serves as a technology hub that provides a fun and interactive platform for children to express their creativity and innovation while learning. We aim to develop an innovative generation by providing them with the necessary tools and space to satisfy their curious minds. Our teaching methodology is to groom our students on their Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in a world that is increasingly automated, technology reliant, and competitive.
